First in Guangdong: Shenzhen Completes Data IP Registration for Embodied AI Real-World Interaction Dataset

Recently, with the professional support of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Intellectual Property Office) and the Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology throughout the entire process, the "Meta Action – Pouring" dataset independently developed by Pacini Sense Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. has successfully completed data intellectual property registration.


This achievement marks Shenzhen's first data ownership confirmation case focusing on a specific scenario involving embodied artificial intelligence (AI) interaction with the real physical world. It also fills the gap in data intellectual property registration for real-world data collection in the field of embodied AI in Guangdong Province.


As the only company in China currently equipped with comprehensive qualifications for compliant overseas transfer and cross-border transactions of embodied AI data, Pacini has completed the country's first cross-border transaction of embodied AI data. Through this registration, the company has established a coordinated development model integrating data ownership confirmation and compliant cross-border data circulation. This case has become one of the few benchmark examples in China that simultaneously demonstrates the value of both data rights confirmation and compliant cross-border data transactions.


The data intellectual property registration system serves as a key institutional framework in China's efforts to deepen market-oriented allocation reform of data resources and regulate the circulation of data rights. It also provides an important pathway for transforming raw data resources into compliant data assets that can be licensed, traded, and recognized in corporate financial statements.

 

Following the completion of registration and ownership confirmation, the innovative achievements derived from independently collected and developed robotic physical interaction data have obtained official recognition and protection of ownership rights. This provides a solid foundation for future data licensing, industrial applications, and cross-border transactions, while unlocking the value of embodied AI data as a new type of production factor and supporting the advancement and upgrading of high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing industries.
