Harry Lai is the founder and senior patent strategist of Chuanmo. He has been practicing in the field of intellectual property since 1996, with long-standing experience in China patent strategy, patent mining, patent navigation, patent portfolio planning, patent search, patent drafting, office action response, reexamination, invalidation, and infringement analysis.
Mr. Lai graduated in Chemical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. He has participated in research projects on foreign patents with BIT Academy of Science and Technology and contributed to the construction of the National Patent Search and Service System.
His practice focuses on patent strategy and technical analysis in chemical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biology, and related technology fields. He has been involved in patent mining and patent analysis projects for high-tech companies and has supported patent navigation, intellectual property evaluation, data quality monitoring, and training work.
As the founder of Chuanmo, Mr. Lai has helped develop practical patent consulting methods that connect technical understanding, business objectives, patent portfolio planning, and long-term IP management. His work supports Chuanmo’s patent practice with both strategic direction and practical implementation experience.
