Kate Sun is a partner and trademark attorney at Chuanmo. She received a master’s degree in law from Sun Yat-sen University and has years of experience in intellectual property practice.

Ms. Sun focuses on China trademark filing, trademark opposition, invalidation, non-use cancellation, trademark litigation, well-known trademark recognition, anti-unfair competition, domain name disputes, and foreign-related trademark matters. She has handled a large number of trademark applications and dispute-related cases for domestic and overseas clients.

In 2013, Ms. Sun studied international trademark practice in Japan, including trademark-related matters in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. She is able to provide foreign-related trademark opinions and practical solutions for clients with cross-border brand protection needs.

Ms. Sun is proficient in English as a working language. She has represented Chuanmo in important intellectual property conferences and has provided trademark-related training for domestic and foreign clients.
